Eureka Events is proud to have delivered the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA) 70th Anniversary Conference and Celebration — a highly complex international association event.

Eureka combines creativity, accessibility, logistics and live operational delivery into seamless delegate experiences.

The MFPA 70th Anniversary programme perfectly demonstrated that approach.

The Mouth and Foot Painting Artists association supports artists living with severe physical disabilities who create artwork using only their mouths or feet, providing dignity, independence and opportunity through art.

MFPA required an agency capable of delivering far more than a traditional conference. The brief was to create a global celebration while supporting delegates with highly complex accessibility requirements.

The resulting programme welcomed more than 300 delegates from over 35 countries and incorporated:

• A week-long international art exhibition
• A three-day conference with live interpretation across 21 languages and the election of a new president
• A gala dinner celebration
• Cultural experiences across London
• Multiple accessible transport movements
• A large-scale immersive closing celebration

Many attending delegates and artists lived with complex physical disabilities. For many, this was a rare opportunity to reconnect with the wider MFPA community.

As a result, Eureka’s role extended far beyond traditional event management.

Eureka managed the complete end-to-end delegate experience throughout the programme. The team personally met international delegates at the airport upon arrival, working directly alongside the Head of Assisted Services at Heathrow Airport to coordinate complex arrival logistics and mobility assistance for guests travelling from around the world.

Across the duration of the programme, Eureka managed all delegate transportation and logistics between airports, hotels, venues and cultural experiences, overseeing accessible vehicle scheduling, live transfer management and operational coordination throughout London.

Eureka operated as a full-service destination management and accessibility partner throughout the programme.

Specialist accessible transportation providers were sourced, including a company with experience supporting both the London 2012 Paralympic Games and the Invictus Games.

Detailed accessibility-focused risk assessments and operational plans were developed for every venue involved in the programme. Eureka worked closely with each venue to redesign traditional event layouts and operating procedures to successfully accommodate wheelchair users and delegates with complex mobility requirements.

Seating plans, stage access, delegate circulation routes, transfer points and emergency evacuation procedures were all reviewed and adapted to ensure the programme could operate safely, inclusively and seamlessly without compromising the premium delegate experience.

Accessibility was embedded into every stage of planning and delivery — not treated as a compliance exercise, but as a core part of the event experience itself.

Alongside the operational planning, Eureka worked closely with MFPA to create an emotionally engaging and visually memorable programme reflecting the identity and personality of the association.

The week-long public exhibition at Lindley Hall became one of the defining highlights of the programme, showcasing artwork created entirely by artists using only their mouths or feet. Eureka managed the exhibition launch experience, including live music from a string quartet and production coordination for the official opening attended by Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.

The exhibition generated extensive media coverage, including features by BBC London alongside wider regional and industry press, significantly increasing international visibility for the association and its artists.

The gala dinner at Guildhall demonstrated Eureka’s ability to combine formal event management with immersive guest experience. Guests were welcomed by a live harpist before enjoying a Beatles tribute performance designed to unite delegates through music and celebration.

The evening also featured a speech from Sir Stephen Timms, recognising the importance of the association’s work and the achievements of its artists.

Entertainment and guest experiences were curated throughout the programme to reflect both the prestige and personality of the organisation. Bespoke British-inspired catering menus were developed across the venues, while the welcome reception featured a live trumpet fanfare and Elton John tribute performance.

One of Eureka’s greatest achievements was the transformation of the closing celebration at Leake Street Arches into a bold immersive experience unlike anything previously delivered by the association.

Traditionally, association closing events had been formal and structured. Eureka instead created a vibrant London-themed celebration where guests arrived to the event logo professionally graffitied at the entrance before entering immersive scenery, London-inspired props and interactive entertainment.

Kings Guard stilt walkers, caricaturists, a magician, costumed waiting staff and a Britpop band transformed the evening into an energetic and highly memorable celebration that encouraged artists, delegates and supporters to connect in a completely different way.

The closing celebration became a highlight of the programme.

Supporting wellbeing throughout the week was equally important. Eureka worked alongside the “Malteasers” — a dedicated medical and support team providing on-site welfare support throughout the programme. The integration of medical support, accessible transport, venue adaptations and operational management created an environment where attendees felt safe, supported and fully included throughout the celebrations.

What distinguished Eureka Events throughout this programme was the ability to simultaneously operate as creative agency, accessibility consultant, destination management company and live operational partner for one of the most complex international association events of the year.

This was not simply about delivering venues, entertainment and logistics. It was about understanding the people attending, anticipating their needs and creating an environment where every delegate could fully participate without barriers.

The feedback from newly elected president Tom Yendell OBE reflected the success of the event and Eureka’s involvement throughout.

The programme demonstrated Eureka Events’ ability to manage extraordinary operational complexity with creativity and professionalism.

Working on this event was not just simply the scale of the programme or the quality of production. It is the ability to combine accessibility leadership, live operations, creative event design and international destination management into a seamless delegate experience that genuinely reflected the mission and values of the organisation itself.

The result was an unforgettable international celebration that demonstrated the power of exceptional event delivery to bring people together without barriers.
